According to Texas A&M DL Alonzo Williams, the Aggies’ locker room is far from happy and bursting with love, although the team is working on resolving the issue.

The Texas A&M locker room is far being the House That Love Built, as one player said how the atmosphere and chemistry of the Aggies is a far cry from what many may have thought when the team was undefeated and ranked as high as sixth in the nation.
“It’s not where it needs to be,” junior defensive lineman Alonzo Williams told Aggies beat writer Brent Zwerneman of the Houston Chronicle.
Texas A&M snapped a three-game losing streak with a 21-16 win over Louisiana-Monroe last Saturday, yet the victory was far from impressive. The Aggies were held to a season-low 243 yards and needed a late defensive stop to avoid what would have been an embarrassing loss. The team also has to deal with the fact that quarterback Kenny Hill — who was benched in favor of Kyle Allen last week — will be suspended for at least one more game following a violation of team and athletic department policies.
Williams did add that the team is making progress toward being more in unison.
“We need to keep working on some things, but we’re getting there,” he said.
Run defense will have to be one of those things the Aggies are working this week, as they face read option wizard Nick Marshall and third-ranked Auburn on the road Saturday afternoon. Texas A&M is ranked 95th in the nation against the run.
