It was the second straight week in which Roethlisberger has lit up the box score and, as a result, it was the second straight week he earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Ben Roethlisberger completed 25-of-37 passes for 340 yards and six touchdowns.
The week prior, Roethlisberger threw for 522 yards and six touchdowns. With the impressive performances in consecutive weeks, Roethlisberger became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for 12 touchdowns in a two-week span.
While it will be difficult for Ben Roethlisberger to continue his hot streak and the Steelers’ three-game winning streak, Roethlisberger just may be able to keep it rolling with a matchup against the lowly New York Jets on the horizon.
The Jets have lost eight games in a row and have allowed 30+ points on four different occasions this season.
We could see Roethlisberger complete the three-peat.
