Rose’s availability is a bit of surprise, considering he was listed as questionable for the game. The point guard was listed as probable for Chicago’s Tuesday night game against the Orlando Magic and didn’t play.
Regardless, Rose’s return is a big boost for the Bulls. While the team won both games in his absence, Rose is the key to the Bulls’ long-term successes this season.
Despite the rocky, injury-riddled start to the season for Rose, Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau told CSN Chicago expressed confidence that Rose would eventually find his form.
"“He’ll get back. It’s gonna take time,” Thibodeau said. “You can’t miss the amount of time that he’s missed and get it all back right away. Everyone has to be patient. … Whether (Rose faces) praise or criticism really shouldn’t matter. He’s strong-minded. This comeback’s not going to be easy. He knows that. he understands that. He’s gotta keep grinding away.”"
Rose is averaging 16.5 points and 4.5 assists per game this season.
