Hey, Miami Heat fans, remember the days when Dwyane Wade would come down the court, loft the ball up and LeBron James would throw it down? Well, yeah, that can’t happen anymore. But here’s the good news: Josh McRoberts is more tha happy to fill the void left by the King in this instance.
On Wednesday night the Heat are taking on the Charlotte Hornets and we found out just how dynamic Wade and McRoberts can be coming down the court.
Watch in the video below as Wade does what he’s done so many times before with lofting the ball near the rim, only this time it’s McRoberts who gets the slam finish.
Okay, was that as pretty as Wade to LeBron? Maybe not, no, but it got the job done and that’s all that matters. Plus, you could exaggerate and say this rubs a little more salt in the wounds of Cavaliers fans and even LeBron himself that they’re up north struggling to begin the season at the moment.
Still, the Wade-to-McRoberts connection should be fun to watch this season.
