The list of 2014 Lombardi Award Semifinalists were announced this week, with the nation’s top five sack leaders all making the list.
The Rotary Club of Houston announced the 2014 Lombardi Award Semifinalists this week. The award is handed out to the top lineman in college football — regardless of what side of the ball the play on — annually.

Among the notable names on the list are top NFL prospects Vic Beasley of Clemson, USC’s Leonard Williams and Brandon Scherff of Iowa.
Scherff is one of just two offensive lineman named to the list of semifinalists, with Auburn center Reese Dismukes being the other. All five of the top sack leaders in the nation are present on the list of semifinalists.
Beasley is the only semifinalist from last year’s vote to make this year’s list.
