Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is of the belief that he’s seeing a much better Michigan State team on Saturday than they saw last year.

We’re now just a few days away from the biggest clash in the Big Ten all season as Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes will travel on the road to East Lansing to face the Michigan State Spartans, seeking some retribution from that loss in the Big Ten Championship Game last December.
Well if comments on Wednesday night from Meyer are any indication, the Buckeyes could be in for a longer night than they had in Indianapolis last December.
The thing is, Meyer might be right.
While Michigan State was a very successful and talented team last season as they found their way to the Rose Bowl, all of that success to them was new. This year this Michigan State team came in with some lofty expectations, and so far, they’ve handled everything pretty well. They didn’t win when they went out to Eugene to play Oregon, but they competed at a high level for a good amount of time.
This young Ohio State team, despite their recent success, could be in for a long night on Saturday.
