Indianapolis Colts (6-3)

It would be easy to come off the decimation of a floundering Giants team on Monday Night Football and just chill, but it’s unlikely the Colts do that.

While they won the game easily, the overall play wasn’t all that great—including from quarterback and Civil War re-enactor Andrew Luck.

The Colts are in prime position in a weak division and can coast into the playoffs, but that won’t help them once they enter the postseason. They need to tighten things up now, because it’s much harder to do in January and February.

The Colts have a tough test in New England after the bye (though it is at least at home), then will see very little in the way of challenge save for Cleveland in Week 14 and perhaps Dallas in Week 16.

So they cannot afford to get complacent, or they will be quickly escorted out of the playoffs.
