A young fan at the United Center apparently had her fill of the mellow sounds of Tom Thibodeau at Tuesday’s Orlando Magic-Chicago Bulls game.

News flash. Coaches yell. Some coaches yell a lot.
And then there’s Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau, whose native tongue may in fact be nothing but guttural, profane screams.
The young fan seated just behind the Bulls’ bench Tuesday night—all decked out in her Joakim Noah T-shirt (unless it’s a hand-me-down Luc Longley model from an older sibling or parent)—couldn’t take any more of Thibodeau’s dulcet tones.
I feel ya, kid. Thibodeau’s raspy speaking voice is a difficult listen. Screaming in a packed arena at courtside can’t make it sound exactly soothing.
Here’s the thing, though. The kid has a seat that most people would consider living without a major organ to get. It’s loud by the bench, which is part of the allure for some fans.
Of course, for most of the fans that can actually afford those seats, the allure is simply being able to say you can afford those seats.
Maybe the Bulls could put a sign on the back of Thibs’ suit to warn fans of excessive volume and/or content that may not be entirely appropriate for children, women, or other non-athletic beings.
