Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings wants you to know that he is OK. He tweeted out a Bible verse to say as much.
With the news of a plea agreement on Tuesday and the possibility of reinstatement, it appeared that things might be looking up for embattled Minnesota Vikings’ running back Adrian Peterson.

One of the more unfortunate stories in the NFL this season has been the situation with Peterson and the allegations of child abuse against him. It is a divisive topic among fans and one that has risen to the surface once again this week.
It turns out that things are still not in Peterson’s favor. The NFL could reportedly suspend the running back now that his court situation is resolved. As if that weren’t enough, Nike terminated their sponsorship deal with Peterson.
That led to the following response from Peterson on his Twitter account.
I was thinking why do I feel so at Peace & Joyful!? The Lord has Blessed me w Peace that surpasses all understanding! pic.twitter.com/povxY8DCrS

Peterson has generally been accountable about this whole situation, even if he still makes some people upset. That made this an odd response from Peterson, who has every right to his faith and to express it, but might be missing the point here.
