Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears

What’s more fun than a Sunday Night Football matchup between the Packers and the Bears?

Answer: nothing, save a matchup between a Green Bay squad that has played four full quarters this season and a Chicago team that both plays and carries themselves off the field like a team.

You take what you can get, though, and this weekend you get a historic rivalry fighting tooth and nail to stay relevant in the 2014 NFL season. Aaron Rodgers and Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall and Eddie Lacy.

If you’re looking for a battle, flip your channels over Sunday evening- this won’t be a game to miss.

Details for Sunday night’s game:

Date: Sunday, November 9th
Time: 7:30 pm CST
Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin

Keys to Victory:

Aaron Rodgers doesn’t seem to be one hundred percent after his injury, but he’ll need to get as close to his old form as he can in order to pull off a solid win this Sunday. His offense line will need to tighten up, and we’ll need to see better pass completions from the veteran QB — without this, the Packers will be in for a rough game.

While Green Bay fans haven’t seen the team stay strong in the final two quarters of any game this season, though, Chicago Bears fans have seen far worse.

The team is as disjointed on the field as they are in the locker room — there’s been rumors of the team splitting apart from their quarterback, Jay Cutler, and those players that have stuck up for him have only found themselves thrust into the limelight for locker room tension- and worse.

The Packers can laugh at the antics going on behind closed doors in Chicago all they want, though — the Bears are determined to prove that they aren’t the joke of the NFC North, and nothing wins games like a team with a chip on their shoulder.

Betting Odds:

Point Spread: CHI -115, GB -105
O/U: 53
Moneyline: CHI +300, GB -360

Prediction:

If the Bears can outplay the Packers in the final two quarters, this could be a close game — and possibly a loss for the hometown team at Lambeau. Without getting too arrogant, though, Green Bay should go into this game determined to keep up their three-year streak of keeping Chicago out of the playoffs.

Play a strong offensive passing game, utilize the defense (particularly Ha Ha Clinton Dix), and the Packers could hold off the opposition at home.
