Houston Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney disclosed to the Houston Chronicle that his knee was still bothering him. It was the reason for him missing the 31-21 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Jadeveon Clowney has only appeared in two games so far in his NFL rookie season. He played in week one against the Washington Redskins and then again October 26th against the Tennessee Titans.
Not only has Clowney had to deal with his knee issues since week one but he also got sick last week. Some concluded that was why he was a no-go against the Eagles.
"It was pretty much both, the knee and I was sick"
Clowney though said this week the knee is feeling better, however there are still issues. The Texans have a bye this week so he has another ten days from now to prepare for the Cleveland Browns in week 11.
"There are certain things going on with my knee still. I am not able to do the things I want."
Whatever that means for his near future who knows? You have to remember his knee did have a surgical procedure. Although it was back in week one, it was still just two months ago at this point.
"I want to be out there with my team. We’ve all got the same goal. We want to win."
So does the rest of the team. Houston is 4-5 and although they are still in the playoff hunt, there is a delicate balance of trying to push for the playoffs and making sure Clowney can do everything the team needs him to do on the field.
