The Denver Broncos are coming off a 43-21 blowout loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday
I guess the new move by NFL head coaches is to just say they are moving on to the next team after a blowout loss. That’s much easier than to answer any questions about the loss. New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick made the move famous. Now Denver Broncos coach John Fox is playing along.

Per NFL.com Fox couldn’t help himself in his press conference addressing the Broncos first game since their blowout loss to New England. He pulled a quote straight from Belichick, riffing on the ‘On to Cincinnati’ quote that turned into a viral sensation for the Patriots head coach earlier this year.
"“We’re on to Oakland”"
Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning had a little more to say about re-focusing after a tough loss like the one that occurred last Sunday.
"You’d like not to have to get slapped in the face to get refocused. You’d like to be focused every single week. If it happens, it’s about trying not to repeat it, trying to improve and that’s what we’re trying to do"
The Denver Broncos took a beating from the Patriots much like the Patriots had from the Kansas City Chiefs before they went on their current five-game winning streak. The Broncos have to believe they can just jump right back on the horse.
Of course nothing helps more than playing an 0-8 Raiders team that has played decent at times but haven’t been able to put one in the win column just yet. They’ve had close calls against the Patriots, the New York Jets, and just last week a close loss to Super Bowl defending champion Seattle Seahawks. The Broncos shouldn’t take their opponent lightly.
