LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers may have lost another game, but James says he found some clarity in dealing with issues on the team.

The Cleveland Cavaliers took another loss, this time in heartbreaking fashion to the Utah Jazz, who have long been a nemesis to star LeBron James going back to his days with the Miami Heat. While a loss is still a loss, James took some positives away from game — mainly an alteration to his approach from earlier games in which he was trying to teach a lesson to the younger members of the team.

“We played well, and I was very aggressive,” James said after the game, per the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “I got to the line a lot tonight. My body felt it good, it let me know I was in attack mode. I think it put us in a position to win. That’s all you can ask for as a player is to put your team in a position to win at the end of the game. So we got a little bit of clarity, but me, personally, I’ve got to figure out a way to get my teammates involved, too, because it can’t be just a one, two, or three-man show.”

This comes in stark contrast to James’ performance against the Portland Trail Blazers, in which he spent most of his time hovering around the three-point line while youngsters like Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters played one-man-show styles. James wants these young guys to play a team game and he’s willing to teach them the hard way, but he also knows what he can do to will an NBA team to victory.

James did just that in the final stretch against the Jazz, but it wasn’t enough as Gordon Hayward hit a buzzer beater to give the Jazz the win. LeBron just chalks that up to another lesson learned by a young player, this time Tristan Thompson.

“Tristan kind of laid off a little too much and allowed him to get off a look,” James said.

So go the growing pains on the young Cavaliers.
