Score Free Assassin’s Creed Unity DLC

Ubisoft is preparing for the launch of Assassin’s Creed Unity, and in promoting the game, will be hosting a Twitch livestream and giving away free DLC to all those who register.

Assassin’s Creed Unity is set to launch on Tuesday November 11. With that date quickly approaching, Ubisoft is putting its best foot forward in hopes of getting the game out there even more. The newest promotion is by offering some free DLC to anyone who registers to watch its upcoming Twitch event.

Yes, you did read that right. You don’t actually need to watch the event, simply register and score yourself some free in game content.

The American Prisoner Pack is the title of the DLC. In it, gamers will be greeted with a French rapier for Arno, a parade pistol, the American Prisoner mission, and the Master Assassin Hood.

On Friday November 7 at 2pm central time, the Twitch live stream will kick off. During the show, gamers can expect to see both the single-player and co-op game modes shown off, as well as giveaways and interviews with developers taking place.

If you’re looking to get in on the free DLC, make sure to head here to RSVP for the livestream. For those still looking for a catch, likely the only thing that can be claimed as such is that you will need a UPlay account (free, requires an email, and likely something you already have if you have played a Ubisoft title previously) to complete the RSVP. After completing the form, a message appears stating an email with the DLC code will come on launch day.

Assassin’s Creed Unity launched on November 11 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Make sure to check back next week as well as FanSided will have our review of the game finished that same day.
