The hearing for James Winston regarding his accuser from last year has been postponed which means the quarterback has avoided the situation once again.

There are people who do not like Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston for a number of reasons, but one of the main reasons he’s loathed stems from the Heisman winner being accused of a year old rape in 2013 and then getting off the hook.

He may have escaped criminal charges from the state of Florida — where you can literally get away with murder — but the university is not going to go as easy on their star. Whether they’re actually concerned or just doing it for show, Florida State has postponed the personal conduct hearing that Winston was supposed to appear for to discuss the rape allegations brought against him last year.

It’s a case that just won’t go away, which is drawing all sorts of reactions from fans an analysts. Some believe that if Winston was truly innocent, this should have been a case wrapped up and forgotten about when the state decided to drop charges. Others believe that this is all a big show by Florida State, who won’t seriously consider punishing Winston until after the playoffs when Winston can declare for the NFL Draft.

We will know in due time where the school falls on the issue, but that wait continues to get longer and longer.
