Florida State‘s miraculous comeback against the Louisville Cardinals stands as one of the most impressive wins of the college football season and a notch on James Winston’s belt of accomplishments.
But it could all turn out to have been a sham, as Winston is part of an investigation into points shaving that would explain the terrible first half he had.

According to AL.com, UAB is investigating the claim that defensive end Chris Rabb placed a $5,000 bet that Florida State would be losing to Louisville at halftime of their game a week ago.
James Winston just so happens to be an old friend and former high school teammate of Rabb, which is fueling the story.
"“We’re are aware of the allegation and looking into the matter,” UAB Brian Mackin said in statement sent out by the university this afternoon. “That is the only comment we will have at this time.”"
This comes after a TMZ report that alleged Winston shaved points in the first half against Louisville, only to come out and win the game in the second half.
All of this seems like a tinfoil hat kind of conspiracy, but thanks to how much a doofus Jameis Winston has been this season with scandal after scandal, he’s not helping himself dodge an actually serious allegation.
Yelling human anatomy at the top of his lungs this is not, as shaving points is a serious allegation.
It is hard to imagine Jameis Winston doing something as silly as shaving points when there is so much attention surrounding him, but “anything can happen in sports. I guess we will just have to see if anything comes of the UAB investigation into Rabb.
