LeBron James says it will take time for the Cleveland Cavaliers to find success.

While many are freaking out about the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 1-3 start to the 2014-15 NBA season, LeBron James says he’s not concerned.

James put forth such a sentiment on social media Thursday, telling fans and media to “relax.”

LeBron elaborated on the thought Friday to Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com:

"“It’s just how I was feeling at the time, he said. “It was just a message for everyone to understand how important the process is. Everyone wants overnight success and it just doesn’t happen in team sports when teams first come together.”"

James is absolutely correct here. The Cavaliers have a completely new team this season and no matter how talented they are, it was always going to take time for the players to get comfortable with one another. Even James’ last super-team dealt with such a process.

The 2010-11 Miami Heat began the season 9-8, as LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade figured out how to play with each other. The Cavaliers are poised to be one of the best teams in the NBA this season, though it might take them a little longer for them to flash that potential than most title contenders.

LeBron is averaging 23.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game this season.
