Who are the top-5 darkhorse MVP candidates early in this NBA season?

Now that the NBA season is in full swing and has already been extremely intriguing to follow, there are players who are beginning to impress and push their names up among the league leaders. There are plenty of stories to follow, and a lot of players who are beginning to prove themselves to the league that are very enjoyable to follow.

There are plenty of players that are darkhorse MVP candidates at this point in the season, but they’ll have to continue their high level of play all season long in order to contend with the regular candidates. It’s going to be an intriguing race this season with Kevin Durant’s injury and LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers getting off to a rough start.

Needless to say, there are going to be some intriguing names to keep an eye on this year. At this point in time, there are five potential MVP candidates that have stuck their name into the conversation, but have a long ways to go. It’s going to be a very entertaining season this year, and there are players that will continue playing at a very high level.
