The Seattle Seahawks get to partake in some more home cooking on Sunday against the New York Giants, and running back Marshawn Lynch will be ready to set the table. Both Lynch and wide receiver Doug Baldwin missed practice time this week, but were described by Carroll as “ready to roll,” according to Liz Matthews of 710 ESPN. Lynch had a calf injury, while Baldwin had a groin injury.

On the other hand, cornerback Byron Maxwell and safety Kam Chancellor are considered game time decisions.

"“He’s going to have to talk us into it at this point,” Carroll said about Chancellor’s chances of playing Sunday, in a story by Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune."

Chancellor has been playing with bone spurs in his ankles all season, but will likely miss his second consecutive game due to a groin injury. Assuming Chancellor does not go, then fourth-year veteran Jeron Johnson will get the start. It will be his first start in 38 games. He is returning from a concussion that kept him out of last week’s game against the Raiders.

Byron Maxwell hasn’t started since October 12th and likely won’t again this week. If he is unable to go, then Tharold Simon gets his fourth career start.

On the offensive side, tackle Russell Okung should be good to go after battling a calf strain, and center Max Unger is expected to start after being out for a month with a sprained foot. The only offensive lineman out is James Carpenter who did not practice this week after spraining his ankle last week against the Raiders.
