The Dallas Cowboys have been waiting all week long hoping that franchise quarterback Tony Romo would be able to play this Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It sounds like he is good to go and a report from Clarence Hill seems to confirm that he will in fact play on Sunday.
Needless to say, the Cowboys are reeling after two straight losses and need to get a win this week. The Jaguars are not a very good football team this year, and this is exactly the type of game that the Cowboys need to get another win under their belt. Having Romo’s leadership back on the field and not having to ask Brandon Weeden to make plays will be a nice improvement from last week for Dallas.
Romo is out here practicing for second straight day. Consider him good to go for Sunday

Romo has played in eight regular season games this year, throwing for 1,998 yards, 15 touchdowns and six interceptions. He threw three of those interceptions in the first game of the season against the San Francisco 49ers, and since then has been playing exceptional football.
One of the reasons for the nice season that Romo hs put up is the play of star running back DeMarco Murray. He is on pace to have a shot at a few different records and defenses have had to gameplan to slow Murray down. That has left Romo open to do a lot more through the air than he has been able to over the past few seasons with Murray struggling to stay on the field due to injury problems.
That being said, this is extremely good news for the Cowboys and it appears their quarterback will be back. Romo’s chronic back issues have been well documented over the years, and they’ll still be a concern moving forward.
