Romo playing would be good news for the Cowboys, who wouldn’t have to hope for a decent Brandon Weeden start. Romo hasn’t played since he injured his back two weeks ago, and his return could be a big boost for Dallas as they head across the pond with the Jaguars to London. Fantasy players might want to double-check on Romo’s status come Saturday night or Sunday morning, though.
The Cowboys are 6-3 but have lost their past two games with Romo out and a win in London helps Dallas retain a share of the NFC East, with a chance to lead the division if the Philadelphia Eagles lose to the Carolina Panthers on Monday. The Jaguars will start rookie quarterback Blake Bortles, who has eight touchdowns and 13 interceptions in the five games he’s played. However, Jacksonville is 1-8 on the season, so even if Romo’s back acts up again, the Cowboys will still likely be favored.
