Barack Obama Joins Willie Nelson To Sing ‘On The Road Again’ (Video)

President Barack Obama joined music legend Willie Nelson on stage at a PBS tribute concert to sing ‘On the Road Again’.

Barack Obama may not be having the best week ever after the midterm elections, but he’s not going to let that get in the way of a good time. When Willie Nelson hit the stage at a PBS concert hosted in honor of military members all over, the President of the United States joined the music legend for a rendition of one of Nelson’s most famous songs, as seen below.

Nobody masters the art of doing little like a politician and no one masters the art of politics like a Chief of State. Obama sings for about eight seconds in this whole thing, but somehow you’re always watching him, waiting to see when he will hit those chords. Barack Obama seems like he’d be a good singer, but it’s hard to tell as he never just takes that mic and wails on it the way we’d like.

Credit Nelson for still sounding great and Michelle Obama for getting out there and leading the charge with some hearty claps and smiles. Can we just say that in general Michelle looks fantastic. The last six years have undoubtedly been tough on Barry, but Michelle seems to wear it very well. Barack steadies the scene with that mic clap and for that, we’re sure PBS, and the troops, are grateful.
