The Baylor Bears dismantled the Oklahoma Sooners 48-14 in Norman on Saturday. Baylor scored 45 unanswered points in the contest.
The Baylor Bears kept their College Football Playoff dreams alive on Saturday with a dominating 48-14 win over the Oklahoma Sooners.
However, early on, the Bears appeared to be in trouble.
Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight threw two first quarter touchdowns (an 8-yard pass to receiver Michiah Quick and a 9-yard strike to receiver Durron Neal) that gave the Sooners a 14-3 lead heading into the second frame.

But it was all Baylor from there.
The Bears scored three second-quarter touchdowns to open the game up. Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty threw a 33-yard score to receiver Corey Coleman, while running back Devin Chafin scored on rushes of one and two yards.
Baylor extended its lead to 38-14 in the third quarter thanks to a 5-yard rush from Coleman and a 3-yard rush from running back Shock Linwood.
The Bears tacked on a fourth quarter field goal and another Linwood rushing touchdown (15 yards) to round out the scoring in the blowout win.
Petty ended his day with 387 passing yards and a touchdown. Linwood rushed for 88 yards while Coleman had 224 receiving yards.
Knight finished with 146 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Making a tough day even worse for the Sooners, Knight was carted off late in the game after an injury.
Oklahoma running back Alex Ross led the team on the ground with 71 yards while Quick had 94 receiving yards.
It was incredible performance for Baylor and it puts them in good position to contend for a College Football Playoff berth if they win the remainder of their games. For Oklahoma, this game was yet another sign that they are not one of the premier college football teams in 2014.
