The No. 1 Mississippi State Bulldogs and Heisman hopeful Dak Prescott have a rather easy outing on Saturday as they take on UT-Martin, and early in this one, Prescott was showing why he’s considered the top contender for the Heisman Trophy.
In the second quarter with his team already up 7-3, Prescott called his own number and we were all amazed once again.
Watch in the video below as Prescott puts the ball down and weaves his way through the defense to the tune of 48 yards and a rushing touchdown.
That is one of the reasons why he is considered at the top of the list for the most prestigious award in college football, and why he probably still will be after today is over.
However, with some pretty tough slates coming up against the likes of Alabama and Ole Miss, Prescott will be looked upon to pull off these plays a lot more in the coming weeks against a lot better competition.
