ESPN College GameDay is headed to the 2014 Army-Navy game for the first time ever.
Every Saturday morning, college football fans make the journey to their couches to watch ESPN’s College GameDay show. The show travels every week to the biggest match up of the week, usually, and breaks down every story heading into Saturday’s games.
They announced on the show this morning that the sow will be headed to Baltimore for the Army-Navy game in December, which is simply amazing.

What might be more astonishing though, is that they’ve never done it before. The show usually goes to match ups between top-ranked teams, and there is rarely a time when both teams are ranked. Still, we’ve seen them pick rivalry games before or go to North Dakota State games on slow weeks before.
Behind the set every week are fans with signs ribbing their rivals in college football, with two student bases filled up with service men and women, it will be interesting to see what the atmosphere is like behind the stage.
I don’t think it will be the usual, just rolled out of bed and possibly still drunk crowd we’re accustomed to seeing.
