Minnesota’s Maxx Williams is really going out of his way on Saturday to show that he’s one of the more dynamic players on the field as the team routes Iowa. Up 35-7 at halftime, Williams has been the star of the game thus far.
No, really, this kid is pulling off plays that some players can only dream of.
First there was this amazing grab by the sideline, where he was able to use that athleticism of his to stay in bounds and complete the catch.
However, that wasn’t enough for Williams. No. You see, for as amazing as that catch was, it didn’t get the team six points. So he decided to make another athletic grab, this time putting some more points on the Iowa defense.
Maxx Williams might be one of the more overlooked players int he Big Ten, but after this performance today, that might be changing. This kid is one of the better weapons this Minnesota team has, a Minnesota team that might be 7-2 when the day is done.
