Former Dallas Cowboys receiver Michael Irvin tweeted that Tony Romo will play in ‘Landon’ along with a picture of Irvin interviewing a kid in a Romo jersey.
Michael Irvin took to Twitter to make a big announcement. Tony Romo will play on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Beyond that, Romo is apparently ready to lead the Dallas Cowboys to a Super Bowl victory. Of course, one look at the picture of Irvin’s ‘exclusive interview’ changes the context just a smidge, as seen below.

We still can’t tell if Irvin is joking or not when he spells it LANDON given that the whole tweet is meant as a joke. If it is a joke, it’s flying over our heads. Is the kid’s name Landon? That might make sense. Otherwise your apparent typo has us confounded, Mr. Irvin.
Romo’s playing status has been one of the big questions in the NFL this week and it’s looking more and more likely that Romo will in fact play for the Cowboys. The team will need him after a disastrous outing for the offense under the direction of backup Brandon Weeden.
The Cowboys were severely limited in a loss to the Arizona Cardinals and they’ll need Romo back to open up the offense and once more free running back DeMarco Murray to do his thing in order to avoid a three-game losing streak before the team enters its bye week.
