A fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers asked the athletic department’s official Twitter account a question. The answer was both accurate and biting.
You know that old saying about there being no such thing as a stupid question?
Neither does whoever is monitoring the Twitter account for the Nebraska Cornhuskers athletic department Saturday.
But give them credit—their answer was definitely in sync with the truth.
Not today.

The Huskers, in fact, do not play Saturday. They are on a bye week after last week’s win over Purdue in advance of what looms as a huge game in the Big Ten’s West Division at Wisconsin on Nov. 15.
And shockingly enough, this information was readily available in roughly 35 bazillion places on the Internet.
It is one of the endearing—or not—aspects of Twitter. Many users prefer to ask questions to the Twitterverse rather than simply Googling the information they are after.
Sometimes, they get those answers. Other times, they get their soul crushed because they very publicly asked a question that they soon fervently wish they had merely asked a search engine.
Sure, a search engine query doesn’t have that same personal touch as asking Twitter users.
But as @kylilbeckner discovered, sometimes that’s a good thing.
