The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are not having a nice trip out west on Saturday against the Arizona State Sun Devils. Actually, they’re having a terrible time, and we’ll show you what we mean in a minute here.
From the start in this one, Notre Dame has just been pushed around by Arizona State, however, they have been their own worst enemy as well, which has also led to them falling behind.
Want evidence? Just watch in the video below as Notre Dame tries what should have been an easy snap on the field goal attempt, however it just goes horribly wrong.
That’s about how the entire afternoon has gone for the Irish.
The good news, though, is that they’ve fought back. At one point the Arizona State lead was at 31-3 and it seemed as if this would be one of the ugliest games of the season. But in the third quarter at the moment, the lead has been cut to 34-24.
All Notre Dame has to do from here on out is stay out of their own way.
