Kyle Allen is looking much more comfortable in his second career start today for Texas A&M as he already has four touchdown passes in the first half against the Auburn Tigers

Allen was the nation’s No. 1 quarterback recruit last year and after beginning the year as the No. 2 quarterback behind Kenny Hill, Allen has gotten his opportunity and with Hill suspended for the second game of his two-game suspension, Allen doesn’t look like he’s going to be giving up this job anytime soon.

Ricky Seals-Jones was the beneficiary of Allen’s third touchdown of the game, this 23-yard touchdown strike coming in the opening minutes of the second quarter to give the Aggies a 21-14 lead after two rushing touchdowns by Auburn tied the game at 14 after the Aggies opened the game with two touchdown passes from Allen in the first 2:07.

Allen didn’t stop there as he connected with Josh Reynolds for the second time this afternoon on this seven yard touchdown to give Texas A&M a 28-14 lead just three minutes after the touchdown strike to Seals-Jones as the Aggies hope to pull off the big road upset against the defending SEC champions.

Allen is 12-of-16 with 187 yards and four touchdowns with an interception for Texas A&M who leads Auburn 35-17 at halftime.
