Andy Dick was arrested in Hollywood for Grand Theft after snatching a necklace and biking away

Saturday afternoon, the Hollywood Reporter announced that controversial comedian Andy Dick was arrested in California for Grand Theft Person.
Allegedly, Dick stole a man’s $1,000 necklace; after asking if he could see the piece of jewelry, he took the object in question and rode away on his bicycle. The actor’s media reps have declined to comment on the matter.
This isn’t Andy Dick’s first run-in with the law. He has been arrested for a whole slew of crimes, all falling under the category of ‘spoiled party animal’. His legal troubles began in May of 1999, when he ran his car into a utility pole in Hollywood while under the influence (and possession) of cocaine and marijuana. He has since been in trouble for sexual battery, possession of a controlled substance, public indecency, and a gambit of other issues. His most recent issue (prior to the arrest Friday afternoon, of course) was in 2010, when he was arrested for allegedly ‘groping a bartender and patron’. The comedian has been in and out of rehab for his various transgressions.
Dick has appeared in a number of TV shows and films, including Road Trip and the Andy Dick Show on MTV. He is most famous for his outrageous behavior during celebrity roasts.
