The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers will renew their rivalry during Sunday Night Football.
Both teams are coming off of a bye after embarrassing defeats. The Packers were defeated by the New Orleans Saints 44-23, ending a four-game winning streak while the Bears were blown out by the New England Patriots 51-23.
The Bears are just 3-5 while the Packers are second in the NFC North with a record of 5-3 (The Detroit Lions lead the division with a record of 7-2). The difference between the Bears and Packers is a 38-17 Packers’ win over the Bears back on September 28 at Soldier Field in Chicago.
Leading up to the game, the reeling Bears did get a bit of good news – tight end Martellus Bennett will be playing in the game. As will linebackers Jon Bostic and Lance Briggs and rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller.
