The Arizona Cardinals are enjoying one of the best starts to the season in team history in 2014, and that’s thanks in large part to the play of veteran quarterback Carson Palmer, who seems to have finally found his groove in the league with good talent around him.
However, disaster may have struck on Sunday against the Rams, as Palmer went down with an injury in the second half.
Palmer dropped back in the pocket, and as he tried to evade some pressure, he just dropped down with a non-contact injury.

You hate to see this, especially given how well Palmer has been playing this season. He’s been one of the more efficient quarterbacks in the league in guiding the Cardinals to the top of the division and it would be a huge blow to this team if he’s out for a significant amount of time.
As more information about Palmer’s injury becomes available, we’ll keep you updated accordingly.
