DEMAR DEROZAN DID A 360 LAYUP.
(H/T @cjzero)
The move made famous by Nick “Swaggy P” Young has now been performed by Toronto Raptors shooting guard, DeMar Derozan, and it’s amazing. At first, it looks like a standard layup with contact at the rim. But then it becomes so much more, he starts to spin, the excitement is building, what he’s gonna do!? Contact is made, and then DeRozan finishes his spin, cementing himself in the history books. To top it all off, he made the shot too. Lets see if he does it again, I sure hope he does.
What other players out there, have the athleticism, creativity, and sheer fun to do this next? Kobe Bryant is certainly one of them. Kobe has shot every kind of shot there is, why not add the 360 Layup to the all time great? There’s also Kevin Durant. A player with his length could have a really cool looking 360 layup. But the most impressive one would be if LeBron James did it. Someone as big, strong, and fast as him, the collision at the rim would leave the player contesting the shot on the ground. Either way, whenever it’s done next, it will be just as awesome as when Young and Derozan did it.
