The Jacksonville Jaguars are trying to get their second win of the season this week against a reeling Dallas Cowboys team in London. They haven’t looked too terrible over the last few weeks, but they simply don’t have enough talent to win games in the second half against better teams. Today is a big game for them to get some confidence back moving forward.
Denard Robinson has been a huge find at running back for the Jaguars this season, and he put them up 7-3 over the Cowboys with a beautiful 32-yard touchdown run. Dallas doesn’t have one of the best defenses in the league, and the rushing attack appears to be alive and well for Jacksonville. Blake Bortles has had a lot of pressure taken off of his shoulders with the emergence of Robinson, and the Jaguars might very well have their running back of the future.
Take a look at Robinson’s 32-yard touchdown run:
Jacksonville has come out looking to make a statement this afternoon, and Dallas will have to find a way to answer them. This is the definition of a trap game for the Cowboys, and they simply can’t afford to lose their third straight game. Tony Romo and DeMarco Murray will have to fire up the offensive attack, and put up a good number of points if the defense is going to allow the Jaguars to make those types of plays.
