It’s damn near inevitable at this point that Bears QB Jay Cutler just does not do well when he’s matched up against the division rival Green Bay Packers. Actually, it is inevitable, and this point was proven very early on Sunday night in Lambeau Field.
The Packers scored first in this one, so Cutler’s back was already against the wall in the first quarter. He and the offense needed to get the ball down the field and answer that Packers score, or things could get ugly.
Well, Cutler failed in that mission, as if we expected anything else.
On the drive following the Packers’ score, Cutler threw the ball right into the waiting hands of Micah Hyde.
Yes, that is the Jay Cutler that we all expected to see on Sunday night inside Lambeau Field and he came out pretty early for this one.
What’s even worse is that this turnover led to another Packers touchdown, digging the hole even deeper for the Bears in the first quarter.
