After the New York Jets locked up the victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday, Mike Mitchell tried to jump the snap as the Jets were in victory formation.
A center will do anything to protect his quarterback and New York Jets center Nick Mangold did just that Sunday when the Jets were in victory formation against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Steelers safety Mike Mitchell tried to jump the snap which resulted in Mangold throwing him over his shoulder on to Mitchell’s back before he could hit Jets quarterback Michael Vick.

The New York Jets held on to win the game 20-13 after leading 17-3 at the half and giving up 10 points in the second half to the Steelers but holding on to secure the seven point win.
Michael Vick played well for the Jets going 10-f0r-18 with 132 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions as well as adding 39 rushing yards.
The Pittsburgh Steelers struggled on the offensive side of the ball giving it up four times including two interceptions by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Roethlisberger finished with an impressive 343 passing yards and a touchdown in a second half comeback effort, but the Jets defense was able to hold the Steelers from getting the victory.
With the win, the Jets get their second win of the year and the Steelers drop to 6-3 after having the lead in the AFC North. Now, the Cleveland Browns lead and the Steelers will try to get it back in the coming weeks.
