It seems to be gaining popularity every week for a while now, and I personally love it. Coaches dancing, showing that they are either human or will stick to what they say.
This week coach Kill showed off his dance moves in the locker room following a blowout of 6-3 Iowa, which keeps them in the hunt to win the Big 10 west.
This isn’t the first time Kill has done this, though. He also busted a few moves last year after his team beat Penn State 24-10 in The Battle for the Governors Victory Bell, which by the way sounds like something from The Walking Dead.
These are just great, the second one is the best because it kind of looks like Kill is about to go in and get mad at the players at first. Also, does anyone else notice that the players make the same noise while coach dances? Oh well, no matter what they’re chanting or saying or whatever, it’s great to see a 53-year-old get down and dance.
In all seriousness, this is fantastic. I know other coaches have done this, like Mike Gundy at Oklahoma State and sometimes it helps with recruiting just because it shows that while he is a coach, there will be fun times. It’s also good to see Kill have his team playing so well after everything he has been through.
The Golden Gophers play Ohio State, Wisconsin and Nebraska in the next three weeks, I’m sure if Kill and his squad can win a few of those, there will be much more dancing coming our way.
