Lynch had one more touchdown in the second quarter that tied the game at 14 after the Giants took a 14-7 lead after Andre Williams ran in from three yards out for the touchdown and after Josh Brown kicked a field goal as time expired in the first half the Giants held a 17-14 lead in Seattle over the defending Super Bowl champions.
But the second half belonged to Lynch who would score two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and was inches of adding a fifth when he was stopped on the door step of the goal line in the third quarter that resulted in a Steven Hauschka field goal that tied the game at 17 with 4:13 left in the quarter.

The punishing running style of Lynch wore down the Giants defense that has been vulnerable all year long in the run game as Lynch scored two touchdowns to put the game away for Seattle and join Shaun Alexander as Seattle running backs with a four touchdown game. This four touchdowns were a career-high for Lynch who finished with 140 yards on 21 carries.
Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson got involved in the run game too as he was able to roll out and pick up yards at will against the Giants defense that failed to account for him in the run game as he finished with 107 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.
The 350 rushing yards allowed by the Giants were the most allowed by the team since Nov. 26 of 1978 when they allowed 366 to the Buffalo Bills.
With the win, Seattle kept pace with the Arizona Cardinals who are 8-1 and in first place in the NFC West while the loss drops the Giants to 3-6 after they lost for the fourth straight game.
Eli Manning finished with 283 yards with a touchdown and an interception when Earl Thomas picked him off after Richard Sherman deflected the pass. Andre Williams found very little running room against the stout front of Seattle and finished with 33 yards on the ground.
One of the lone bright spots on the day was the continued strong play from rookie first round pick Odell Beckham Jr who had his second 100-yard game of the year with 108 yards on seven receptions.
