Chicago Bears, 6-10, Fourth in NFC North

The Chicago Bears were expected to strongly compete for the NFC North this season, but they simply haven’t looked good to this point. Jay Cutler has been extremely inconsistent once again this year, and the offense hasn’t lived up to the potential that they showed last year. Defensively, they have been wrecked by injuries and haven’t been much once again.

There is no denying the potential and talent that the Bears’ offense has, but they simply aren’t a complete team this season. If Cutler can get back on the same page with the rest of his offense, they will have a chance to compete for a playoff spot in the NFC.

At this point in time, it just doesn’t appear that they are going to get back into the race for the division. They may wind up finishing with a better record than 6-10, but they have a lot of work to do in order to do that. Chicago is in a world of hurt right now, and they have a very difficult schedule to finish up the regular season.
