If you ever doubted that Patrick Peterson was worth the seven-year, $83 million contract he signed with the Arizona Cardinals this year, those doubts were erased on Sunday afternoon.
Patrick Peterson reminded St. Louis Rams quarterback Austin Davis that you don’t question greatness, with a beautiful, mind-blowing intercetion.
Peterson reached out his hand, flipped the ball straight up into the air to himself, retained focus and then took the interception 30 yards to paydirt. It was one of three consecutive touchdowns by the Cardinals to pull away from the Rams in the fourth quarter.
