What NBA trades could help shake up the league?

If there’s anything I’m more excited about than the NBA being back in action, it’s that the trades are about to start happening to shake up the league.

Teams have had about two weeks to figure out what’s working and what needs to be fixed while their is still time.

I’ve picked out nine possible trade scenarios that could have a major impact on the league this season. They’ve all been approved via ESPN’s trade machine, except for those trades of players signed over the summer. Unfortunately, those trades can’t be completed until Dec. 15 at the earliest, but they’re still exciting to discuss.

Trades don’t always improve the team, like the Indiana Pacers discovered last season with Evan Turner. It’s always a bummer when that happens, but it’s hard to blame the team for trying to make themselves better. It’s the trades that happen to save the team money that irritate me the most, like the James Harden trade, for example.

Fortunately, these nine trades are mutually beneficial for each team.

Let’s get started!
