LeBron James has said repeatedly that this season is gong to be a process when it comes to building chemistry with his new Cleveland Cavaliers teammates. Against an impressive New Orleans Pelicans squad coming off a big win against the San Antonio Spurs, the Cavs offense seemed to figure things out in their 118-111 win Monday.

Especially LeBron, who dropped 32 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. And this dunk.

Kyrie Irving also had 32 points and… wait for it… nine assists! Kevin Love put up 22 on 6-of-9 from three-point range.

It’s the first triple-double for LeBron since returning to Cleveland. While in Miami, he grew into a better all-around player and he’s taking those lessons back home. The Cavs offense was in high-gear, especially in the second half when they scored 67 points.

The Cavs defense is still a concern, however. It took a 67-point second half to squeeze out a seven-point win.

They gave up 32 points to Ryan Anderson, who drained eight of his 12 three-pointers. Anthony Davis, quickly becoming one of the three-or-four best players in the NBA, had 27 points, 14 rebounds, four steals and three blocks. Even though the Pelicans lost, they can hang their hat on a good overall performance.

Davis is forcing his name into the MVP conversation, but LeBron is still the king. It’s certainly a debate worth watching for the rest of the season.
