New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan mouthed a few profanities at the Pittsburgh Steelers after the game after the defense tried to vault the line and jump on Vick at the game’s end.
When Pittsburgh Steelers safety Mike Mitchell tried to summon his inner Troy Polamalu and jump the Jets offensive line as they lined up in victory formation, he and his teammates earned the ire of New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan, who shouted several profanities at the Steelers players as the game ended. Check it out for yourself at the Star-Ledger.
This comes just weeks after Geno Smith made similar comments to angry fans. It’s almost like these Jets guys like to swear or something.

Jets center Nick Mangold, who lifted Mitchell and tossed him to the ground upon Mitchell’s jump, called the play ‘dirty‘ and Michael Vick looks like he wants to slam that football in Mitchell’s face just as the safety hits the ground.
Fortunately Vick and everyone else involved escaped unscathed. That plus having some fun is really what it’s all about, right? Right?
The Jets beat the Steelers 20-13 in a game that didn’t seem that close for most of regulation. They forced four turnovers in all and shut down a Pittsburgh Steelers offense that had racked up 12 touchdown passes in the last two games. The Steelers only managed one in New Jersey, and that a garbage time TD to Martavis Bryant.
The Jets improve to 2-8 on their lost season while the Steelers fall to 6-4 in the deep AFC North, which actually puts them in a last place tie with rival Baltimore Ravens.
