Last Sunday’s win over the Jacksonville Jaguars was a sign that Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo’s health is fine despite the fact he continues to play with two fractured bones in his back.

Tony Romo didn’t get scraped off the Wembley Stadium grass with a spatula, and the fact the Dallas Cowboys quarterback threw for 246 yards and three touchdowns last Sunday is a sign he’s doing well despite two fractured bones in his back.
Then again, it probably helped that Romo faced the Jacksonville Jaguars defense, which managed just one sack while generating so little pressure that Tony Romo had enough time in the pocket to watch two classic Benny Hill episodes while also pondering what to eat on the flight back home.
“He came out of the game fairly clean and didn’t seem to have any issues on the flight coming back,” head coach Jason Garrett said. “He is in good shape.”
“Good shape” should move into the neighborhood of “pretty good shape,” as the Cowboys are on bye this week. They’ll need Romo to arrive there since Dallas faces one of the most daunting two-game stretches in league history when they face the New York Giants on the road for a Sunday night contest before taking on the NFC East leading Philadelphia Eagles on Thanksgiving Day.
Garrett is right when he said “everyone has to suck it up,” yet the demands of playing two divisional opponents in a four-day period will be felt hardest by Romo and his offensive line, which must contend with Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul and an blitz-happy Eagles defense.
