Mississippi State Bulldogs’ quarterback Dak Prescott is not expecting jitters against the Alabama Crimson Tide in one of college football’s big games Saturday afternoon.
The #1 ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs will be facing the #5 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide this weekend in a game that could decide the seasons future for both teams. Obviously the Bulldogs are looking at the number one seed in the playoffs if they can keep winning games, while Alabama is looking to force their way back into the playoff picture.

Needless to say, it’s going to be one of the biggest games that he has played in his life and the Crimson Tide will be doing everything that they can to knock him off of his game. Prescott spoke to reporters about his expectations for the game and how he isn’t anticipating jitters despite how big of a game it is for his team.
"“I wanted to play so badly (last season). They were ranked No. 1 and that was tough being out for that game. Of course I wanted to get out there. Now being able to go to Tuscaloosa and the starter and healthy, I’m very excited.”"
"“I’ve grown a lot in every aspect of life and every aspect of the quarterback position. I don’t really think there will be any jitters going into the stadium. (Playing there in 2012) got me familiar with the place, knowing if I can score in there as a freshman, than it can happen again.”"
There is going to be an absolutely unbelievable atmosphere in Alabama this week, and the fan base knows just how much the Crimson Tide need this game. Mississippi State hasn’t dropped a game yet this year, but Alabama has lost one. If they want to keep their playoff hopes alive, they need to win this game.
That being said, it will be intriguing to see if Prescott is capable of following through on these comments. It’s a huge game for him, and he will be asked to perform in a big way on an even bigger stage. Mississippi State is depending on him to come through with a big performance.
