This Marzipan Statue Of Jaromir Jagr Is Real Life (Photo)
Jaromir Jagr has been replicated, in life-size, completely out of marzipan.
Sports fans are kinda strange sometimes.

Some of us only get as weird as wearing our Brad Marchand shirts to the 6 a.m. yoga class every Tuesday during the playoffs, because THAT WINS STANLEY CUPS.
Others, though, take it a step further.
Apparently, there is a life-size statue of New Jersey Devils forward Jaromir Jagr in Tabor, Czech Republic, made entirely out of marzipan. I am not even kidding you right now.
The statue is 100 percent candy, which really puts the real Jagr’s sweet ass to shame.
(I know, I just had to do it.)
There are two things that I want to point out about this.
First, the English translation of the sign explaining the tribute was VERY clearly either manually translated by someone who doesn’t speak English very well, or by someone who doesn’t speak English at all and used Google Translate. “The living legend in his age of 41 still actively works in the NHL” is maybe the most adorable and perfect sentence I have ever read about Jaromir Jagr, and also looks suspiciously like it might have actually been written by Jagr’s biggest fan, Tomas Hertl.
Second, what is this for? It’s made of candy, it won’t last forever. Is this for a wedding or a birthday party or a parade or WHAT? I must know.
