In the NFL no position is more important than the QB. Find out where your favorite team’s starter ranks in this week’s NFL QB Power Rankings.

Welcome to FanSided’s weekly NFL QB Power Rankings. Every Wednesday throughout the season you can check out the most up to date rankings for the most important position in the NFL. These power rankings will consist of the 32 current starting QBs. So if a QB is out for any extended time his backup will replace him on the list. So make sure you check in every Wednesday to see where your favorite team’s QB ended up that week.

Please keep in mind that these rankings are NOT a list of the players with the most established and proven careers. That would favor the older players. They are also NOT a list of the players you would most want to build around going forward. That list would favor the younger players. No, this is a ranking of the best players at that position right now, today. The NFL is a “what have you done for me lately” kind of a league. So while early in the season the list will be influenced by previous performances, if later in the year Brian Hoyer is clearly out producing Jay Cutler then their rankings will reflect that regardless of what their general perception or reputation is.

This week we have a third different number one overall QB in as many weeks. Sadly, a week after Carson Palmer broke into the top ten he is gone altogether after suffering a season ending knee injury and Mark Sanchez makes a pretty impressive debut. Let’s go ahead and get the list started so you can see where your favorite QB is at this week. We’ll start things off with number 32………
