Boston Bruins Coach Claude Julien Rips Performance
By Scott Allen
The Boston Bruins lost 6-1 to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday night, which spurred coach Claude Julien to rip team
They are currently sixth in the NHL Eastern Conference playoff standings with 20 points but that doesn’t mean Boston Bruins coach Claude Julien is content or happy with that. He ripped into his team after their lackluster performance on Wednesday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Bruins were down 4-0 less than four minutes into the second period against the Leafs. Boston would not score until the 14:16 mark of the second period. The Bruins also gave up one more second period goal and a third period goal in the rout. Per ProHockeyTalk.com, Julien was ready to move on quickly.
"We just stunk the joint and right now, it’s a matter of moving on, getting ready for tomorrow because there’s nothing great to talk about today"
In a 6-1 loss, I guess there really isn’t any better way to put it I would expect comments like that from player or coach alike in a 6-1 loss where you were never really in the game.
Bruins center Chris Kelly was also less than impressed with his team’s effort in the loss.
Another hockey fan on Twitter put it succinctly.
So it wasn’t their best night and now they need to move on quickly. Their next game is tonight at the Montreal Canadians.
