Clay Matthews Not Unhappy With Move Inside
By Gerald Tracy
Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews was moved to the inside spot during last weeks matchup against the Chicago Bears and his brother thought he didn’t like the change.

Clay Matthews has 29 tackles, 3.5 sacks, a pair of forced fumbles and an interception on the year, nine of those tackles and one of the sacks came Monday night against the Bears.
Although he arguably had his best game of the 2014 season, Matthews isn’t happy, at least according to his brother he isn’t. Casey Matthews said that his brother did well so he expects him back at the inside position this week when he plays Casey’s Eagles this week, but said Clay just wasn’t happy, saying he didn’t think he liked the position change very much.
Clay Matthews quickly came out and shut down these rumors today, telling Paul Imig of Fox Sports that there wasn’t any truth to the story, but did hint at that he would play outside 100 percent of the time if he had the choice, no big surprise there.
Matthews and the Packers take on the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday and neither have revealed whether or not Matthews will be back inside. If Casey was right, expecting him out there would make sense because his brother seemed to be a lot more productive inside and they will need him to be productive against an Eagles team with plenty of offensive weapons.
